thought i would take the ole S-10 on a little rock mission. Nothing wild mind you, they have no ground clearance, but still fun....and it gave me a nice break today. Even a short vid at the end!

You know if you paint the diff covers black that would help in the scale looks! I like that truck it's growing on me, I run my corvette more than my rusty now. There's something about scale R/C that's peaked my intrest! Might get the hummer? Make another vid may be 2-3 mins long...............

I wouldn't change the to 1.9" tires that might hurt the scale look of the rig. Now a scale sized {stadium** track would look cool!

Or perhaps change to the hilift tyres. Apparently they are a touch bigger.

i need to do some more research on it, as i see now alot of 1.9 rigs are based off the TA02, but i cant imagine them using the TA chassis. I want to go scale, make it look right, something a "weekend warrior" would own.. some off-road lights, ect. oh, and a trailer, to pull Slidewayz around with.:D
nothing really is gonna happen til after the Bash tho...

hows the playdoh holding up with those jumps? :D
That looks like a lot of fun. I really want to make a 8th or maybe 10th scale baja truck. I would drive it hard, so I think 8th would be the way to go for stability.

on a side note, I remember you saying you had to a bunch of work to get the sus. softer. What all did you have to do? I'm thinkin about picking one up and want to know how big of a headache its gonna be.

ya know, the TA02 does a decent job, i jsut want it softer...probably lighter oil, "hog" out the pistons a bit,..and some cut down maxx springs. The only real downside is ground clearnace, but for a multi-use truck,...it deos everything nicely. The beauty? change shock position, throw some ABS on it, and a car body.........INSTANT drifter!
