I am a Junior mechanical engineering major at the University of Rhode Island. I have been racing for over 6 years and in the hobby as long as I can remember. I have been searching for internships in the industry and I have found nothing. The Radio Control industry is growing at an insane rate especially here in the united states. Some of the designs are as comprehensive and precise as any other racing machines. I have desired for long time to be a part of the design teams behind the top machines as many people would. If anyone out there knows of a company that offers internships for college students in mechanical engineering I would love to know.
