hello im interested in starting to race rc cars!! i use to race personal watercraft but it became time to hang up all the broken body parts and start something new. i would like to get serious about this but i dont know where to start.. are there circuits where i can start as a beginner and move up the ranks.. if anyone knows please let me know i would love to start i currently have 1/8 nitro buggy and 1/10 xxxtmf2 i love them both but want to start racing.. if anyone has any info and would like to help me find this new sport plz feel free to leave me a email address where i can contact you.. thank you..

Go to your local hobby shop and find out if there are any local tracks. All you have to do is show up and watch one night. Ask people what the hot setups are. Just make sure not to pick on one person. You don't get as much good info that way and you can make more new friends by bugging everyone :)

Things you'll probably need:
Tires
Support equipment (good toolbox, extra tx batteries, chargers, etc.)
maybe better servos for either or both depending on what you already have.
Heavy duty mechanic-style or work gloves (for marshalling duty)

But yeah, go visit the track. You'll find all the info you need right there. It's more fun anyway :)

Yeah all tracks will accept all beginners, find out if your Local track has a website and see when the next race is to watch, In the US they have them everyweek it seems like.
