I've seen that before. They have electric dragsters running around too (I think there's one that uses the Killacycle's setup; it runs 9's...:D)
Something to note here- these are brushed motors being run with these setups; can you IMAGINE a 1:1 brushless setup with some ridiculously heavy duty Kokam lipos?

That's awesome that an electric motorcycle can do that.
And he can make a pass on less than 5 cents of electricity!!
SWEET!!!!!!!!

They should use some Kokam cells just for kicks. That'd be interesting; comparing lipo versus the A123 Li-ion in real world testing. Lipos have a distinct weight advantage, and a slight voltage advantage at peak charge. Would make for some pretty fast electric vehicles though...:D
More importantly though....where's the brushless technology in these suckers (the killacycle is brushed:()?!?!:D

I saw that a while back. Its prety cool. It can do several passes on a charge.
I am pretty sure its not brushless though unless they have updated it. I think its got a big old brushed motor in there.

OSU's Buckeye Bullet. its designed to do 300 MPH and as you can see, the thing is pretty much made out of batteries
