Modified motor question

Whats the best mod motor at 16 turns that i can get under 45$ besides the Speed Jems?

What are you driving? The best motor in that range I have found is the Fantom 16x3. I have run that thing for 2 years in touring cars and 2wd offroad trucks, no problems what-so-ever! It seems to have as much or more acceleration and torque than hotter motors of different brands.

Oh yeah it's gonna be for either my losi xxx or my bro's xx-4. So the fantom motor you said, whats it called?

Fantom doesn't give their motors names, they just call them what they are, so look for a Fantom 16x3, motor. Are you racing that XX4? From my experience, most 4wd buggy racers run a motor hotter than a 16 turn. I usually run a 12x2 in my Cat2000, my racing buddy runs a 10 turn. Also, if its offroad, I would opt for a double wind over a triple. Something like a 12x2, if you are racing. If not, a 16 turn would be fine, and it would give you better run times than a hotter motor would.

Thanks for the help. Now I can get a good modified motor and know I can afford it. If I had 60 bucks I wouldve got a chrome stock or sumthin. Thanks again
