My son has a Evader BX and I recently rebuilt the diff and put a new Trinity 19t motor in. I realise that if I have the buggy turned off I can't push it, the rear tires will just drag along the ground. I loosened the diff and it still does it. Could it be the slipper? or could it also me the spur/pinion mesh?
Cheers

I'm thinking themesh might be too tight. If the wheels weren't moving when you push the car forward, the diff has nothing to do with it. Try removing the motor, then see if it'll roll forward. If it does, then your mesh was too tight. I use a piece of paper to gadge how close I am. Set the motor against the spur and tighten the mount screws down, with the paper in between the spur and pinion. Now try to remove the paper from the gears without tearing it by pulling it straight up. You should have a tight crease in the paper from the mesh. If it tears, it's too tight. If it isn't very crisp in terms of folding, set the mesh tighter.
That should help!

If that doesn't work, then maybe one of the bearings in the tranny let loose....

Check to see if wheel nuts are tighten too much, that happened to me causing me to reset the diff, slipper and even ended up replacing the tranny B2. Back the nut off about 1/4 to 1/2 turn and check again. If that doesn't help you may need to disassemble the slipper, tranny and inspect each part for wear or broken parts.

Make suer there is nothing inside the motor binding it up in there.
