Orion Chrome Stock: Is it good?

I bought this recently at a hobby store. I would've bought a p2k, but I had to order it online. Is the Chrome stock motor almost as good as the p2k, better, or far worse? Can someone let me know if the 25$ was worth it?

From what I've heard (which is decidedly little about the Chrome Stock) it's good but very gear sensitive.

So should I stay at the standard no. of teeth on my spur and pinion? I think 28 teeth is the standard for stock motors for my XXX.

I've heard that it has slightly more torque than the P2K, but lower rpm's.

I have the peak spitfire which is the same motor, iuse it in my XXXT, with the same gearing (21/88)that i have used with 3 differant P2Ks its accelaration seemed to be noticably quicker,I have since changed it to a 22/88 and its defanetly faster.
