do elec. cars need a lot of soldering if so is soldering easy???

NO NOT REALLY JUST TAKES PATIENCE AND SOME TOOLS. IT TOKE ME 10 MIN THE 1ST TIME DOING TO WIRES ONTO THE MOTOR!!! JUST GATTA NO HOW TO DO IT IF U DONT KNOW HOW ASK YOUR LHS.

A lot of equipment now days comes with connectors already installed on the wires. Bullet type for the motor, Tamiya connector for the battery pack to the ESC or MSC, and a plug (depending on manufacture specs) for the ESC to connect to the reciever. So unless you are wanting to get EVERY little but of power and eficiency from your car for racing soldering can be an opition and most of the time it is.

But of course, if you put a hot mod motor with an ESC speed control. You may make the Tamiya connectors hot enough to melt together, and then you get a crash course into soldering 'cause that's your only option! It's not really hard at all, just do it with fresh air and don't grab the iron's tip. :)
