Ok guyes i have a very good idea to help with the motor cooling that is if it works.I really don't want to tell any one because there are people out ther that will take credit for my idea. I would just like to know how i could get in touch with a manufactuer that i can trust and contact by e-mail. :)

Fan on the end bell? Or, cooling tubes wrapped around the motor? Heatsinks? Put em in the fridge? :)

Perhaps a fan on the inside of the can?

ok i don't really care now so i'm going to tell you maby if you take the mags lining the inside of the can and drill long holes through them length wise and run some tubing through them some way and fill them up with a coolent like alcohol or somthing to that sort like i said i don't know if it would work anyone think i'm on to somthing? null (http://null)

Hmm, that would weaken the field though a bit wouldn't it? Not a bad idea, though.

I don't see why you don't just rig up an intercooler on a car... it might not be race legal but just send a tube from below the grill and send it back through to wherever the motor is...

Well, the principle is sound, but where would you put the radiator ? Liquid cooling (whatever the coolant is) relies on taking the heat from the motor/engine and moving it somewhere else, usually into a heat exchanger like a radiator where the heat is removed from the coolant so that it can be pumped back into the motor/engine to remove more heat etc.
So one problem would be the added weight of a radiator/heat exchanger, pump and plumbing. It may work for a larger scale car but there ain't much room in a 1/10th electric car....
But I could just picture cars parked at the side of a track with steam pouring out from under the body... heh heh.
Nice try....

I actually was about to try a liquid cooling system for my CV (pre O'Donnel head), until I found out it wasn't legal. I had it all figured out how to get a flow & the whole deal! The weight wouldn't have been a factor on a gasser either.
