What is the difference between the 7.1 and the Cyclone TC? Is the Cyclone better used in the Touring Car application than the 7.1, or is the 7.1 the best speed control, even for a touring car?

We have this question on the BB post "Best ESC" I get the feeling you want this to be a 20-50+ post topic just to have the honor of starting it. I bet it would make it a lot easier on eveyone if they post the answer on "Best ESC" found elsewhere on this forum. Dont I sound like a moderator??? Anyway, answering on the "Best ESC" topic will be easier to answer, some people have work and school and are limited in time to post things.

The only reason I made a new topic is to emphasize the two speed controls and not leave it to a generic topic like "best racing ESC." I wanted an opinion about just those two... not Tekin, or HiTec or any other...

I love the Cyclones near unlimited tunability. There are so many ways to adjust it that it can be made to suit any driver or track. Granted that you have to shell out a few extra bucks for a programing device to unlock the extra potential. Many people find that one of the three built in profiles work very well for them and they never bother with programing custom profiles.
