I have an Iwata Revolution CR[Gravity feed]

It isn't too old and I've only used Faskolor paints, water, and windex in it. Recently I've been having issues with its spray.

Usually I can spray a lot more paint than I have been. It is not as sensitive and when I pull it back all the way it barely sprays any paint. Usually I can get a nice wide spray when its all the way open, but I barely get an inch wide spray.

I've cleaned it, my needle is straight and clean, I'm using ~45psi and appropriately thinned paint. I've boiled it, taken it all apart a few times and reassembled it.

Any ideas?

it may be time for a new nozzele they do need to be replaced from time to time you could also try cleaning it out with a toothpick and see if that helps but a new nozzele and some new orings should take care of your problem.

Just realized this was posted under a friends name, this is actually my airbrush/problem.

I'm going to bring the brush up to my workbench and take it apart and clean it as thoroughly as possible. I'll grab some pictures just for reference

There is only 1 O-Ring throughout the entire assembly, and that is located on the air line. It seems like everything on this brush is stainless steel and in great condition, makes me skeptical that anything would need to be replaced.

if the aircap was overtightend you may need to replace the nozzle as it is most likly deformed. also make sure the needle isn't bent other wise give it a good cleaning. if your still having problems try calling the folks at coast airbrush they can point you in the right direction for sure.
