i need motor help!

i used to have a street force gp for a while so i am pretty good with engines and such. But i got bored with it beacause who really races a duratrax? so i got a factory team b3 and i built it and all of that , but then i got to the motor part and i was stumped i hooked it up with no solder leads beacause i **** at soldering and i ran it hard for a year or so(midnight 2 stock). when i went to look at the magazines it says you are supposed to lube them and take care of them with sprays and stuff. i hadnt done it for a year. i have the feeling it is screwed. i have no idea what a bushing or a commutator or any thing is, help me !!!!!!!and if i had to buy a new motor what would it be ;mvp,green machine, p2k
