what to buy?

im looking for a stadium truck and i plan on racing what should i buy for maximum hopup part availability and for maximum speed.and what batteries should i buy for racing and also for maximum run time? thanks

Get a cyclone, team matched 2400's, either a p2k or a d4, cvd's, and bearings is all I can think of.

I say go with a XXXT. I've had mine for a few weeks and I LOVE it. It has great hop-up potential, but will still be very competitive right out of the box.

I like the RC10T3. The other best choice is the XXXT. They're the best two and its kind of a ford/chevy opinion on which is better.

Parts for the http://www.teamassociated.com/homepage/t3team.gif are eaiser to get where i live. Go to the local hobby shop and see what they stock the most of. I have been driving for a while and it rarely breaks unless I slam the wall.

Bomb makes a good point. See what your LHS carries. You can mail order anyting but its nice to have someone local carry parts for your truck. As for which one has more aftermarket goodies its probably a tossup. The losi and the ae are the kings and there is a ton of stuff for both. Speaking from experience I have never broken or bent anything on my team T3 except standard servos. After getting a metel gear from Hitec the car is pretty well bomb proof.

Team Losi XXXT all the way baby! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif The reason is i have one and couldn't be more happier. Another reason i say this is because the AE truck and buggies are about to be replaced sometime soon. I had a FT T3 and i always looked for something more from the truck and it wasnt there, so i sold the T3 and got the XXXT and it was the best choice i have made in a long time. Not trying to put down AE cuz they make great cars and trucks and the FT B3 i have is awesome! I have to best of both worlds XXXT and FT B3.

For ST's i would have to go with a XXXT and for a buggie a B3 is the best way to go. Theres just something about the trucks from AE i don't like. Just my opinion, what counts is when you are at the desk with the money and kit in your hand.

Wow that is odd. A racer at my track has had the xxx for about a year and then he goes out and gets a xxxt and sayes it is 100% diferent from the buggy. The next weekend he showes up and is selling his xxxt for the T3. If you can drive a car pretty good go to the local track, make some friends and try the XXXT and the T3 and see what you like. I think that the t3 is the best buy but that is me.
