Yes it happened. Me and my bro were playing tag, me vs. his xxx-t. He hit me and i lost control, and i careened of into the drainage ditch and was completely submerged in water. I quickly yanked it out to see no sparks, no flames, etc but it didnt work. But my cyclone still had its light on. So what all is now ruined? Is the cyclone ruined also? I think its mainly the receiver that got ruined. Is the battery ok????? I dont wanna spend more money! HELP!!!

okay, first check your esc, plug you esc into your brother's xxxt set up, and make sure that everything is connected right, if the esc is dead, then the servo wont get power either.

for your receiver do the same thing, just keep on subbing in parts on the other working system.

and you were playing delimition derby with racer's? cool!

Well first its "Demolition" and yes we were playing that. We've been doing it for the past 3 weeks and what you do is if you are 'it', you have to slam into the other guys at high speed to flip the other guy over or throw him into a 360 + spinout to make him 'it'. Its big fun and we have broken nothing.

If your reciever and esc have screws and can be opened up, open them to let them dry. I had an old novak once that got waterlogged and wouildn't work. After it dried out it was fine.

I've done the same thing and after a few days, everything was back to normal. Just give it a few days to dry out.

OMG playing "it" with rc cars must be fun... but i prefer to damage garage doors instead... heck i got a ta03r that has been repaired and overhauled multiple times =) anyways... ya like everyone else said... just let your electronics dry out and it'll be good as new (sort of) happy hunting =)

I dropped my V6 in water but there as no power to it so it is fine as for one with power going to it. Test it out of the car before strapping it in to the car that way if it catches on fire your car is not gone with it too. hope all goes well.

use denatured alcohol to make sure it ia clean, let is evaporate so no connections short out, there could have been stuff in the water and left behind when it evaporated. (do this when esc is open)

Well it turns out all is fine except the receiver and I 'm sure the battery is fine also because it discharged fine. But I'm never going near that small concealed ditch anymore. Thanks for the help. ( I'm still 50$ in debt; It was my brother's XXL!!!! :P)
