Hey TA-03 owners... i was wondering... how low can you go with a TA-03? So far what i have done was reduce the suspension travel... i don't have any adjustable upper links so... hmmm any other ways?

Do you have the original springs. That's how mine goes, no spacers and scratches the whole underside. Pretty much scrapin. I have the gray tub chassis, so it will take awhile for it to become unoperationable.

I have spacers in the shocks (the one they said in the instructions), and I put those spring spacers on to keep the shocks somewhat stiff.

If your not very performance minded and just want a cool looking slammed ride. Make some fixed links. Just a small turnbucles with two ball cups. Doing this will hurt performance but its the best way for a showroom slammed ride.

Hey... that's what i did... i placed spacers in the inside of my shocks and i get a decent amount of ride height... and ya i am lookin for just showing off a slammed ride :D thanks for the feedback

Just so you know, adding (pre-load) spacers on top of your springs doesn't make the any stiffer. Not at all. It's a common misconception... Spring tension is constant, no matter how far the spring is squished of stretched (unless you permanently alter it). Adding spacers will only change the ride height by adding "pre-load."

What he means is he is running limiters. I want to turn my old rustler into a slammed steet machine, if I ever get cash that is.

Hmmm, now that I think of it, you're right. I added them because with out them, when I pressed the car down, it wouldn't come back up.

Steve, of course I know he was talking about limiters. I know exactly what you do to slam your ride. This is what I was replying to: "...and I put those spring spacers on to keep the shocks somewhat stiff." <--Posted by Throtl Hapie
