It is w/o wires, i think it is the updated version, will I need to add any diodes or anytihng to it like the original cyclones? also, can i use any wire? i have 3 feet of blue black, and white pure copper stranded wire, its a little bit stiff and once it bends it will stay in that kind of shape, will this put stress on the wire joints?

Did you buy this ESC off of Ebay by chance? I thought I saw a cyclone on there to this discription. But yes I belive as long as you wire it right you can us most any wiring. (Correct me if I'm wrong guys!!) What kind of car are you running outta curiosity?

Can't beat the price. Check out Novak's site or have some one at the local track show you what you need. You want a ?power capacitor? on the speed control and a schotsky diode on the motor, in addition to the normal capacitors.

your about to enter a whole new world racer. I switched to a cyclone this year for my Pro 2. Last year I ran a 14t Double with a LRP Bullet. This year I am running the Cyclone with a Chrome Stock and it's faster. Amazing an ESC can be that much more efficient!
