i run my rs4 hpi with a stock orion chrome motor, but the pinion and spur dont seem to be the right size, do you what size their supposed (mine are 87,24) to be. also do you know of any good cheap hop ups for this car. shocks, springs, oil, anything! THANKS

First check if the pinion and spur gear are meshing right... it should be as smooth as water, if not then maybe the pinion you got is the wrong size... i.e. metric or standard.

Also check the motor to see if it is closely mounted as possible to the spur gear... try mixing and matching pinion & spur ratios cause i think your problem is, is that the pinion is not in true contact with the spur gear... good luck

I say go with 72/27 for speed but for more torque the 72/23. But that is just my opinion. I it all depends what type of track and the setup of it.
