??? Is the ti reedy modified motor good ???

Is the REEDY Ti modified 12turn motor good for offroad use or is it more of a on-road motor? :confused:

its good for anything i think i am going to get one too in rc action they had them in a emaxx so they must be good for off road

I have the 12 turn double in my TC3 rally and its awesome, it makes my TC3 rally walk wheelies (but only when I help the front end a little, but I think it would do it if I had a reversing speed control). But they are great motors, I ran 3 batterys straight threw it and it never got really hot. It has to be one of the best motors I have ever gotten and work that good straigh out of the package. :)

This motor super fast and stays really cool even if you stay on the gas.

When it came in from Tower today i put it in my XXXT......well lets just say if you have your slipper set to tight it will pull wheelies all day long! :eek: :eek:

I got this motor to start racing the Mod Truck class at my local track.....my D4 comes nothing neer close to what this motor has. Reedy went all out on this motor and did a great job!

I have Ti 11T in my TC3, but somehow my Tekin Rebel seems couldn't handle it.. it gets warmer very quick than usual...
I borrow this rebel from my stampede, it can handle D4 15T with ease...
is anyone have an idea of better esc for this Ti ?

Most people run reedy modifieds for on road racing, but there very capable for use in off road. Easton and pavidis run reedy , but im not sure if there running the ti or what.

All Mike Reedy uses for Off-road is Sonic 2's. No Ti motors for offroad.

hte ti is a good off road motor but a sonic 2 might do yu better but the ti has been run in the e maxx and if its not off road nothing is

TC3andPEDE, that motor is too much for your Rebel. You should get at least a Novak Fusion ESC, but I suggest a Dually or C2 if you can afford it.

thx for your input, the reason I just get back to you now is that I bought LRP 7.1 !! and it was sooooo coollll... my TC3's flyingg... :) :)
I have to change the tire 2 time because the combo of Ti 11T and 7.1 is super HOT.
Now I'm ready for next August racing at Hobby People Parking Lot Racing in Riverside, CA. I hope I'll see you all there.

I use the Ti (11T not 12T) in my Stampede, just to check it out, well... I had a bad news.... I broke several part of my poor Pede because I couldn't handle the speed.
It landed full speed at my neighbor 88 Chevy truck from 3 ft hi home made ramp.
anyway... I guess I don't need that speed/power for my Pede, I'm satisfied with the Matrix 17T.

Gee thanks guys, now I have to go check out the price of a Ti motor. :D Just what I needed, another reason to go surfing the R/C sites. :D :D If this motor can make a TC fly imagine what a Pan car could do. :cool:
