I have a 29" electric r/c Apparition cat. Problem is that the props are too high out the water so not getting the speed and cannot plane. How can I securely weigh the bow and stern down ?

does it have adjustable outdrives? if so, you can use them to play with the ride attitude of the boat. pic's and some details would help too.

Thanks BoatDoc. Unfortunately this is a simple beginner boat with no adjustable outdrives or tabs.

The hobby shop should have self adhesive segmented lead weights. Great Plans makes some, Prather made some, there might be some by the Pine Car stuff. Generally the lead weights sell in a 6 ounce pack, two bars of 3 ounces; each bar is sectioned off into 1/4 ounce segments. The lead has servo tape stuck on the back side.

Where did you get the Apparition Cat? I'd like to know who makes it.
