Hi, I would like some input. I have a P2k, and I just bash around in my street with my Tamiya TA03f. The motor is really getting hot lately, and is in dire need of new brushes. I would like to use a long lasting compound with good power too (who doesn't :)). What is a good brush?

Thanks.

Peak PEK2221 - long lasting, good power, easy on comm, and can be purchased with or without eyelets.

Most hard copper will last a long time, but I think you will want a "soft" copper brush. That way the comm and the brushes will wear close to the same. Be sure to get your comm cut when you change your brushes too.

Hmm, I have to find a hobby shop to do this, b/c I don't have a lathe. To be frank, I treat my motors like garbage. I've probably put 50+ runs on that p2k and didn't perform any maintenance! :)
