I have a legend but it does not run yet. But it should handle like a pan car and go the same speed.

The legend handles pretty good, not really like a pan car. The short wheel base combined with the the foam tires make it spin out easily on dusty pavement but on carpet its like its on rails.
Are you racing or just going to use it to play with? If your just playin I recomend getting BRP touring car wheel adapters for 1/10 pan cars. They let you mount a set of rubber tires and touring car wheels on. With the rubber tires it hooks up pretty good even on dusty pavement.
The parts are all top quality and I have yet to break something so they must be tough.
One thing though, dont go to crazy with your motor choice, I wouldnt recomend anything lower than a stock motor. The direct drive gives some crazy fast speeds so a mod motor is not nessisary
anything else?

I found this some time ago when I was trying to find rubber tires for my Digger because I didn't want to pay $40 for the BRP adapters, $15+ for four wheels, and $20+ for four tires. Bolink make a tire/wheel set that will fit Legends and most pan cars. They're called "Street Traction" (I think) and they come with wheels with tires & foam incerts premonted. I'll try to find a link.

Here's a link to them on Tower's site. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LX8757&P=7

yeah I saw those wheels too, I just dont know how well they will work (traction, wear ect.) pluse they dont come wiht crome rims :D
My legend with an old Kyosho R/C Sport Racing motor goes faster than I can run  and its a closed endbell spec motor. With a 20 turn it should fly! I guesstimate over 30 mph easy

It will move real well with that motor. As far as how durable they are, after every race I've seen the only thing I've ever seen broken is the bumper.
