The 10L is what's called a pan car, it's a type of onroad car that has almost no suspension travel in front, & the rear end consists of a "pod" that contains the motor & rear drive axle(diff only, no gear box, also known as a direct-drive car), & for absorbing bumps the whole pod moves(it's called a floating pod type rear suspension). They also almost always use foam rubber tires. They're very responsive cars, & extremely fast when they're working well, but they can be more difficult to figure out than touring cars....... :)

Tell me about it! :) . My 10L gave me fits until I finally got it dialed in. Plus, the only classes where I raced that I could enter were tight road courses.

The pan cars are best suited for a fast, banked oval. But MAN do they haul! Most tracks have a spec 19 oval class, where all the pan cars use 19t motors. I'd say speeds of 40-50mph are easily attained.
