Ok there is the problem. I got this old radio and receiver that I got like.. 7 years ago and I just put it in my DI. I stuck the ESC wire into the chan 1 and the servo into the chan 2. Everytime I take out the wire from the esc and plug it back in it gliches. Then I try to move throttle on the transmitter and the steering and nothing happens. It did that 4 times and I almost ***** myself 4 times.. Any suggestions? Worst comes to worse I'll buy a new transmitter and receiver but I don't really want to, any suggestions on which one is good to get?

if it's 7 years old you should probably just replace it

esc is channel 2 and steering is channel 1, make sure your plugs are the right way round (i.e not upside down)
