RTR t3 are an RTR Epede what should i get??

I am an newbie.I just want to bash for now not very much racing.i want to get an rtr t3 are an RTR epede with an esc.I want some thang that i will have fun with and i wont have to be fixing it all the time. :confused:

If you think you will ever do any racing go with the T3. If you just wanna bash, get the Epede. They are both good RC vehicles made by two of the best companies so you can't go wrong. You just have to figure out what you will end up doing with it.

i have a t3 rtr and all i do is bash and i have to say i am happy :D Nothing makes me smile than to bash and i smile alot when i do it with my t3. Although go with what you want that is just my little opinion :cool:

Where are you gonna bash?

i wanted to know that cause i bash my t3 rtr in my grssy backyard and it gets hung up some times pretty bad.

The epede has ALOT! of grond clearence and will go over mostly anything.
Dirt wise the t3 rtr & epede rock! :D :cool:

A stadium truck like the T3 is going to be limited by the ride height and suspension travel. It is an excellent truck though. The Stampede is more of a go anywhere basher with the big tires and longer suspension. It depends on the terrain. For BMX and smooth dirt bashing the T3 would be the way to go. Loose dirt, sand and grass bashing would favor the 'Pede.

An epede I would say no (stampede right?) it's ok but not great. Go get the T3 if you'd like. I raced in hemet and have a team T3 with panasonic 3000's matched and a reedy rage with about 25 races on it, a T3 RTR kept up with me, good cars and one of the fastest RTR's you can buy (March 2001 R/C car action) But a new car from Duratrax came out called the Evader. It's exact to the Losi XXT which is an older race car and it has a lot of potential, it comes with everything the T3 RTR comes with. The only thing is I don't know how fast it goes, the T3 RTR when they did the reveiw on it I think it went 18 mph which is pretty good. Check out the Duratrax Evader though, looks good. Also unlike the Stampede both the T3 and the Evader are racable.

Lowrider, you have been given some pretty good advice for the most part, but this is ultimately going to have to be your decision. Think long and hard about what you really want to do and spend your money accordingly. This thread will soon be forgotten by most, but you will be the one that will have to live with your decision.

Tell you what, if you think you may do any racing at all, find out if there are any local tracks in your area. I would suggest going to one and look at what the other guys are running. You can race just about anything as long as there are enough entries of your type vehicle to mandate a class. If there is no open monster truck class, I would suggest the T3. You can race the Stampede in a stock or modified truck class, but you will need to do some major modifications and upgrade just to keep up with the others (trust me on this). Again, this is going to have to be your decision. ;)

Great choice. Plus if ya ever wanted to have a real basher the EPede has a great hop-up potiential. You can put Clod tires on it, or ya can make it 4x4, ect, ect.
