I just finished my first run with my newly converted TC-3 Rally. I must say that I'm impressed. I have owned an HPI rally as well and using that as a reference, I would have to say that the TC-3 rally is very nice indeed. I started out with a racer kit and added the conversion, then a couple of extras like the Associated aluminum battery strap and a Trinity motor heatsink. I slapped the Scooby on it and threw down some decent paint (considering it was my first attempt with an airbrush) and I think it looks very good. I only wish I could have gotten it to hook up this well when it was a touring car... :D I'll have pics to post soon.

how is the spur after a few runs?my spur is chewed up and very loud now from just running in parking lots. Alos how much clearance does it have?

The spur is fine. You might check to make sure that the body clip that holds the battery strap on didn't push all the way through and hit the spur gear, that happened to me once. As far as clearance goes, not a whole lot, but a little more than it had as a TC. I'll have to measure it and repost with that info.

my TC3 rally had 1 inch of ground clearance in the front and a little over an in the rear, it handle great, jumps great, and with the reedy Ti 12 turn double I got in it, it hauls, and will walk wheelies (but I have to help the front a little bit, but if I had a reversing speed control it would do it, but since I like LRP and forward only I have to help it) but for rally I say that once everybody finds out about it, it will be the best. :D
