Finally! An RTR radio worth keeping! :winner:

Now if they can only equipe it with a brushless set-up and a Lipo pack. ;)

Whats the street price gonna be for this one? TeamLosi shows a retail of $300.

229.00 listed on horizon... So I'm figuring around 200.00 for one @ my LHS.. That's what I paid for the 1st generation MLST. SO its a great deal with all the extras..

Man it is about time!!!

Well since it is including the Metal Ring and Pinion gear and alloy shock bodies are a big improvement over the MLST! The gears are an improvement over the old plastic stuff, but still seem to be able to take so much power! I think Losi stated that they should only be run with a 6kv or less motor?

The 2.4ghz DSM radio is a nice addition as well! Would have been nice if they used a DX2.0 ;)

Also wonder if they made any improvements to the steering setup?

I think I may just be ready now to get back into an MLST! Well MLST2 that is! :)

And nice to see they changed the rear hub setup. No more links to pop off!

Mr. Crash I'm with you on that! I was not even thinking about an MLST and did'nt think Losi was going to do a MLST2 since it took them quite awhile to address the drivetrain issues!

But this definately changes my mind! I wonder if this will kick start Micro Off Road Racing here again? Hope So! ;)

Kinda funny, whenever Losi makes a second RTR version of a car/truck (ex. Sport 2 RTR) it seems to have chrome wheels, which I don't like.

Otherwise nice.

cool i was looking at the pictures on losi website and i though that they were going to come with the viscous control diffs but all it is is a metal pinion and ring gear. but i bet it wont strip out.

Kden46
03-19-2007, 12:22 AM
i have not been convinced about the viscous diffs yet? seems some people are still having issues with those diffs. of course most of them are running brushless and lipo setups above the Losi recomendations ;)

man you had to go and say that! i can see all the people complaining about stripping their metal ring and pinion gears now because of saying that! hehehe ;)

nitro_newbie
03-19-2007, 01:26 AM
oops i gues i jinxed it!!!. but poeple do abuse it and if they do strip them out i guess ill be one of them hahaha i plan on getting one for sure just gotta get some parts for my s-maxx to get it ready for ebay. 225 and it only needs servo for steering and adapter to fit servo to old airtronics reciever(old style plug).hopefully i can sell it for that it has good compression and never abused but peolpe these days want every thing for free.

ROFL some of you people are too much, :p . Can just see a standoff for when that first box arrives.

Anyway, glad to see that it seems the gripes such as diffs/wheels have atleast had an attempt made to fix them. I geuss the first few who get their hands o nthem will let us know if everything is A ok.

I know I will have one of these for sure. Been wanting a MLST, but kept reading everywhere that just about everybody was having issues with anythinhg beyond light playing.
This looks to be ready now  Good job Losi.

Saw this on www.killerhobbies.com (http://www.killerhobbies.com) friday. Now I have to get one for my son since I just bought an LST2 a few moths ago. His birthday is in MAy so hopefully the timing will work out great.

The reason for that is that they copied it directly from Team Losi and Losi made the mistake. They really should start going through stuff before they release information.

Something for the driveway and yard in the summer no noise like my nitro and it's small enough to run inside in the winter.
Pretty Cool
Electric is looking better and better every year!!!

I really can't afford it, but I have a feeling I'm going to be pulling out the Visa when this comes out. Perfect for when I'm not inside with the Micro-T!

I'm hoping they sell the new metal diffs separately so those of us that bought the original MLSTs can do a simple upgrade.

overall I think this truck sounds like they improved things all around. As they should. Of course now they have guys like me that have two MLSTs in the house wanting to buy the new one. I'm sure that was their diabolical plan all along.

t9dragon
03-23-2007, 05:55 PM
Why wouldn't they sell the diffs seperately?

Monsterbrad

How does this little truck run???
Is it like the Nitro big brother version???
Out of the box its a blast for speed and just general bashing.
I have had them all in the Monster truck scene when it comes to nitro and Losi by far is the best basher one can get for the money!
I wonder if this little guy is worth my time for drive way and basement fun??

Nah...it's all good. The first box we get will probably have 2 of them in it, and we should get at least 3 boxes of them. :D
