I might go ahead and update this thread as I tear it down and reassemble. Dont see much stuff concerning Nitro Pedes anymore.

Any suggestions for mods, lemme know, particulary for the body and engine. Maybe wheels too.

Thanks. Used to be a TMaxx in its place but I decided this would be best for my budget.

And ya, I always toss my wallet, keys, cell phone in there to make sure they dont go anywheres. I tell my buddies who always lose stuff that they need to start wearing a hat :rolleyes:

Wow Peterbilt. Makes me wonder why I haven't seen my little motor in a few days (ordered it last monday, paid for regular priority envelope shipping since it's such a small motor, and nothin' yet). I hope my envelope looks nothing like that when I get it. (This seems to be a common problem with the USPS though... :confused: )

Edit: WEEE! Just got my motor. Packagining was all sealed up and everything was fine. Go figure. (Never had a problem when I ordered a TT-01 kit from tower either with USPS...maybe I have a really nice mail lady). :D

I tore it down some and cleaned a bit, looks good. I think Im gonna put my old TRX 2.5 in it and see if it'll cooperate. I need some engine mount screws and header screws first though :( Also gonna order a few misc stock parts to freshen the truck up some.

I noticed the reciever hold down on these Nitro Pedes are screwed down....dont like that, so Im gonna switch to the Electric style that clips down with body clips. Gonna run my old electric Pede body for a bit and order some new wheels as well.

On a side note, Home Depot called me back. Job interview tomorrow. Making $8/hour and having no bills outside of gas, I do believe this truck could get interesting ;)

Hmm....not sure how to hook up the throttle in this thing. A truck that came with a rotary now equipped with a slider.

I think Im going to order one of those black factory XL5 Pede bodies for it, get some short Evader shocks for the front end, and run white springs with RPM Revolver wheels...
