Dude, I ordered a Team Orion Chrome Stock RS27 Dyno Tuned Motor, some new Pro-Line Velocity Dish wheels, Pro-Line Edge front tires, and some Pro-Line Hole Shot rears. I'm mostly writing this to let you know about the Chrome Stock, though. In checking the tracking, I'll be receiving the merchandise today. I'll let you know how I like the new motor. Thanks for your input. Just thought I'd let you know, I'm taking some of your advice.

You will love the Orion stocker, Nairb's was blazing fast! I also have one, in the Peak form, and it is no slouch either, you may get a lot of flak from other guys, like i did, but i am not worried about it. It is much better suited in a truck. One of those motors is going into my new truck as soon as i get one!

Hey, good choice. I'd say the Chrome Stock & MVP are the best stock motors out right now. I hope you like yours. My second Chrome stock armature is on its way. Just gear it like a P2K or so, because it has lots of torque.

Maaaaaannnnnnn!!!! does that Chrome stock have power or what? Put it on last night and glued some brand spankin' new Pro-Line Hole Shot rear tires and some Edge fronts today, then tested everything. Whoah, horsey.....this thing pops wheelies from the get go, now. I have to be careful with the throttle or I'll be running my 1500 batteries down way too quick. Thanks for the suggestion. Going to get a 3000maH ASAP. I am extremely humbled at the difference between this and that wee little 20-turn Stinger. I'm glad I'm open to suggestions. You ought to see the Pede, now. It's lighter and faster than I had imagined. I'll try to post some pics next week when I get back to work. Looks nothing like it did originally. I believe this is going to be a great racing truck.

What do you suggest in gearing? I'm using the stock spur and pinion gears as suggested in my Stampede manual. I believe the set-up is 87-tooth spur and 18-tooth pinion.

I can't wait to upgrade to ball bearings soon. But, once the 3000 is bought, I'm going to hit the track, then upgrade to bearings.

Thanks for the info.

I just put a Chrome in my TC3 and it is killer. It beats anythink Trinity has to offer, especially on short tracks like ours.
