Yeap..I tapped the ceiling in the basement, cracked the upper head.
Good thing I had the aluminum upgrade one sitting in the basement, popped it on, and noticed the outer sleeve has a nice wobble to that now. I guess I need to get "E-Flite Blade CX2 Outer Shaft & Main Gear Set EFLH1213" to fix that now.
I bid on 1 of these for the Heli as well....I figured it needed a new body as it was cracked when I got it
(can't link photos?)

This way, I can just get the front canopy, and the tail should last alot better than a plastic rear body, and make it easier to work on as well.
Anything else I need to worry about, with a slight wobble to the outer shaft?

yeah,....
you will find the lower head to be a problem in a short time. Go aluminum, make sure you put the motor heat sink in it, and you should be okay. I have bent that outer shaft by looking at it i think. If you take the linkages from the lower blades to the swashplate and flip them over, making the smaller cut out go in the "pin" instead of the longer one, it will slow down the left/right, and forward/backward motions of the heli an incredible amount -great for novice fliers until you get a better feel for it. That way, if you make too much of a stick input, it wont move quite so fast on ya. Worked GREAT for me.

Well, I was going to get the outer shaft, the heatsink & a new canopy. I just bought the V tail in the photo above, as I thought it looked kinda cool, and 1 less thing to crack really easily.
I see the lower head going for 35+ so far on Ebay, I should see what my "good" shop can get this for me...

Should the swash plate sit level? I think mine is slightly out of line as well, from the bump down on the shaft.

yes, it should.
Is this another part that needs to be aluminum as well? I thought Cars were bad with hop-ups.....guess it carries over to all vehicles :D

Well, I was able to straighten the outer shaft a bit, and now I can hover, after leveling the swashplate...it was a bit crooked from the bump.
I am curious on how this works....all it looks like it does is just rub the shaft a bit.......how do these things do the things they do? :D
