Looking to buy a new car or truck off the internet, just wondering what the cheapest site is? Should I order from Tower and save $20 with them? Or is another store cheaper? Let me know please!

First Check Ultimate Hobbies .... If what you want is there mark down the price and check tower to see if they carry the same thing .... hen when you call them ask them to price match ..... They do it every time for me ......

If they only price match and do not beat the price by a fair margin you should give your business to Ultimate. They have the lowest price and you do not want to support them in this? So when they go out of business you will have low prices from who?

If a business can not beat the competators price by either $$$ or a value added service (As in they are local and can supply help if needed.) then you should support the person who originally offered the lowest price. If not you are rewarding a business that was trying to stick it to you originally.

How is Ultimate Hobbies shipping since anything over $199 is free? How's customer service if something goes egg shaped? Prices seem almost too good to be true and not have some type of catch.

Ultimate from my experiance is great, just ordered 2 tlt's from them with free shipping and had it in like 4 days (which in my experiance with online stores is pretty fast). Never had to deal with an egg shapped problem though :).

It is not always the case that one store in particular is always going to be the lowest. In my experience it is always best to price shop, there are periodic sales and discounts at different websites. One day one website might be cheapest and another day it may be a different site being cheapest. Best thing to do is save up your money then the day you are ready to buy check the prices on a lot of different websites.

I suggest finding out from people on here some good websites to order from, some with low prices and good service; that way when you are ready to order you can be sure to look in the right places. ;)

When I'm looking for a new rc, I comparison shop Ultimate, Stormer, Tower and A-Main. I usually wind up buying from Ultimate. Their prices are hard to beat.

Thanks for all the help guys! As soon as I move out 2 of my trucks, I'll take a look at a few sites and see what has the best deal. Ultimate looks good to me though!!

Utimate Hobbies has good prices but their website is horrible and they don't have pictures for a lot of their parts so you better know what you're ordering!

yea, I noticed that also. I guess the best way to shop there is just copy/paste the part number in the search box.

Ultimate will usually have the best price but you can sometimes beat it at Tower because of thier deals. I just wish everyone could make a site as nice as Tower.

Yeah.. Towers site has pretty good functionality. Their query returns are a little too strict and it's often hard for me to find what I want unless I know exactly what it's called and who makes it. Also their design is lacking horribly. A few tweaks and towers site would be awesome! Horizon has a great looking site. But again, the things that their search returns is too strict and often doesn't find what I'm looking for unless I know exactly what it's called.

thetoyz.com is pretty nice. If you're a member (membership is free) you get 10% off.

Ya, it seems that the search feature is more oriented towards the product name and not the product description. As for design, I dont think another site matches it. The way they do categories is great. Most sites dont break them down enough.

Stormer always gets my business because they are SUPER fast in shipping and have pretty good prices.

Ultimate is usually very good. I just ordered a electric jet on Thursday because they had the lowest price by $50 and everywhere else was backordered. It has shipped and tracking says i should have it Thursday. Ive ordered from them before and have yet to have any problems thankfully.

Cubbie, Ultimate is not the best on parts. It's hard to beat them on new kits though. I do agree their site is lacking but I don't mind looking stuff up on Tower to make sure I'm getting what I want.

Also check out www.RCBOYZ.com or look them up on EBay. They have great prices on parts, fast shipping, and very cheap shipping. I've used them many times and I'm always happy with the service.
