Uhhhh... A good esc is more like $120.00-$150.00.
At least one that will handle a 6 turn.......

and to go 65, youd probably have to be on-road, so slicks would do the job a little betta.

I agree with Joe, a 6 turn motor would fry any $40 speed control available. I have a feeling it will also fry a tranny real quick, too.

Sorry, tranny is slang for transmission. I feel a 6 turn motor is too powerful for an off road type transmission. It would probably break rather quickly, IMHO.

Zen is right. As it seems these trucks can take a beating and still keep going but were really not made for speeds above 35 or 40 (i think)

ok so if im staying with my novak duster 2 sprt then i must have a 12 turn motr but what te best moto to get or whould i buy a new esc?
Get a motor that is 5-9 turns and return the esc for one that can handle your motor.
And you want a 5-9 motor because thats the best range for racing/speed.

whoa there dash what kind of racing is he doing? if he is off road racing ona tight coarse the 5-9 turn range will send him off the track in every corner. i have a 13t double speed gem in my rustler for dirt and it is plenty fast to run with t3 and xxxt.
