No way, it's the only way some people will be able to get their vintages running again!

Only if it was recently given to you as a present.
Otherwise, no. Go for it.

I don't know what you're talking about. I bought a box of "parts" from a guy for $20. Turns out it was a $350 sale on Ebay for two Tamiya Sand Scorchers with bodies and a few spare parts. I don't see anything wrong with it because I didn't inflate the bids; I let them get their money out on their own. So... Yeah, go make some money. Someone out there is willing to buy your stuff, you just have to find them.

I think if it is a really rare car, then you should keep it together.

Those were the trucks that i was thinking about when i said that you shouldn't if they are rare. And they aren't all that rare btw. But if you have one, give it to me and i will be ashamed of having one so you don't have to. :D

If I'm ever filthy rich, I'll get tamiya to re-tool the Bruiser and buy like 10,000 of them to distribute to all my friends.

Eric, Good luck finding 10 friends, much less 10,000. JK
I think it would be cool to own one if it were reproduced, but it would most likely be a cheaper to make version and not all that special anymore.

awnelson doesn't get one :D
I wonder if we could get enough people together to get them to make a run on it? I doubt they even have the machinery left. I know there's that new truck out but I was VERY disappointed to see that it's not exactly the same. I want that transmission that I can't take apart and reassemble!!!!
Is the new truck better? faster? easier to work on? Yes.
Is it a Bruiser? Hell no. Nothing will ever be. Not unless it's EXACTLY the same. Waterproof, everything metal, and a 750 motor.
