Is there any recommended product that can be wiped onto the bottom surface of your hull to make it go faster. Maybe some form of wax or something to make it more slippery to slide through the water better ???
I am running in a stock class so I am looking for any little advantage possible.
Just a thought!!!!
Any ideas????

Wax will NOT help, wax creates more surface tension on your hull. With that the hull wont release itself from the water as well, causing less lift. Keep it clean, and maybe a very light wet sand with very high grit paper. Just my two cents

What he said /\.
Sailboaters especially like their hulls wet sanded. Also, the lower units on HiPo outboard engines are left either a dull aluminum finish or a type of primer to help with water flow. Not polished or waxed like we'd want to think.:)

If you really want to pick up some speed make sure the back 1/3 of the boats hull is flat. Many boats now a days have a hook or rocker in them. Take a straight edge from the transom straight forward. It should lay flat. A hook will cause a lot of drag. While a rocker will exibit squirrely handling at speed.
Don't wax it as others have stated besides if you do the wax will be gone in about 20 minutes of running.
