New project will be starting soon,...as its time for Slidewayz to get a buddy. Technically, she will have 2. Problem is, i need a "name" for both of these new rides....

once thats established, a full build up will begin. :)

I was just reading the Slidewayz thread last night and thought that I might make a drifter myself. My plan is to get the same kit you got and a TB-02 and switch their bodies so I have a TT-01 with a nice body and a TB-02 with all the features the Z-Tune Skyline kit has (lights, ESC, etc). I love the body, wheels, lights, light buckets, etc that the Z-Tune kit has, but I hate the TT-01's lack of performance parts. I love the TB-02's oil shocks, Ball Bearing, Alloy Driveshaft, Ball Diffs, etc but want that Skyline body and Light unit.

Basically I'd end up with a wicked awesome TB-02 Skyline drifter and a weird TT-01 that I'd through old gear into and convert it into a rally car for the baseball field dirt. That idea kept me up all night. When i woke up, I was all perky because I never went into a deep sleep cycle. I am not exhausted. Thanks Ron, way to give me awesome ideas right before I want to sleep.


Also, the name i might use is "Slippery Night" (With the lights, I'd use it to drift in the dark. Slippery is to drift and night is to lights. Yeah, stupid, I know... :p )

Zman, even though I never posted in project slidewayz, I still watched the build up of it. It looks like you did an awsome job building and thinking of ideas and putting them into it. Rather than most people just thinking and not actually doing. You gave me some great ideas for a project im working on.
Hope this one turns out just as good as slidewayz.
Also hope you get a name for it soon so youll start doin your magic.

I'm looking forward to this, especially after reading the other build of yours (Slidewayz). The led in a straw for ground effects was clever, especially attatching it to the foam bumper. I may not do under body light though, not mah style. :cool:
