E-Maxx is under 450. Actually, I can't think of an Electric Monster Truck over 450, even totally RTR with all the equipment, except maybe the Juggernaut.

I think the stampede is. ask thorbob over at Rc network (http://rcmt.net)about how u change it. i love mine, it is the aruably best jumper.

I have a stampede, and they come great as rtr's. They are a little bit easier to work on and get parts for than an Emaxx. And all my friends that have emaxx's are frying their speed controls left and right. And the only thing you can do is send it back and they will send you another one, and it takes a while. And the price of the Stampede is low, and if you have 450 dollars you could get alot of stuff for it. Like a Good esc, a couple of batterys and a good charger. So if I were you I would go with a stampede. And yes I have had an Emaxx, but I traded it off for a helicopter that later got sold on ebay. :)
