Touring tires

right now im using regular slick tires. but at my last race someone gave me some hard rubber tires. i really cant remeber what they are. do you know what im talking about. or do you know of any good tires

I'd love to help but I need to know..
What kind of car are you running? scale etc..
What surface are you running on?
Even then it would just be a starting point tires depend heavily on car setup and driving style/characteristics desired.

I run Pro Line foams on the local carpet track w. my OB4 I use purple/orange compound up front and purple in back, but I have other tires to choose from too.
