I got a old motor with a pinion that I want. Problem is as you have figured out is the the allen screw is stripped. I don't know how it was stripped it dose not show any sign's of were, it just looks circular. How do I get it out? Thanks.

Get yourself a set (or a single if you can find one) of "Left-hand drill bits". They're regular drill bits but are cut the opposite way. You chuck one up in a drill, put the tip in the head of the screw and drill it in reverse while pressing hard. The point is - the bit should dig in to the set screw and grab..and when it grabs.. of course it will just unscrew the set screw.

That should do it! Most big hardware stores will carry these. Here's an example. You can read their description too:

Or just get a tool called an easy out.

Yeah, I just used one a few days ago to get a screw out of my TC4 that was stuck in some aluminum.

why dont u take a small tiny drill bit and try to drill it out,i dont know if they make a easy out thats small?????????

did u try taking a a little bigger hex wrench n try to tap in there to get a grip on it.

simple just drill the head off with a drill bit. if you need to get the rest out just remove the pinion and grab the rest of the screw with some grips and easy does it.

If you used thread lock try heating it up a little with a hair dryer or heat gun.

I havent tried anything to it yet. I don't think there is thread lock.. This was used for a TL-01 and I cant read w/e the manual is written in so.. I don't think I can get a bigger allen wrench in there so I'm not gunna kill my fingers trying to fit it.. I'm either going to drill it out or use the reverse thing. Thanks for all your guys help.

Are you sure it's not the allen wrench that's stripped out? If you don't have a good set of drivers, it wouldn't surprise me if the screw is fine but the wrench is not.
You can see it and I can't though so I may be wrong :p
Also, it should be a 1.5mm wrench if it's the stock pinion.

Or... for the money that you will spend on the drill just buy a new pinion. And, they come with a free screw to replace the one you would have damaged anyway.

i sent this to pit tips but they didnt use it.

when dealing with hex screws get a set of TORX bits.they are the star looking bits.you tap them into the junk hex like you would do when trying to use a larger hex wrench.instead of 6 points to grab with the torx have 12.ive used them many times with the RC and being an auto mechanic ive used them on cars and trucks.

The DI comes with a allen wrench, I am going to try that first because I can sort of see corners but its hard. Awnelson since The pinion I want off this old motor is made by Tamiya it is a 49 pitch and I want to use it on my DI. So I dont want to order off Towers and spend 3 dollars on a pinion and 18 on shipping, I don't think my LHS will carry the metric pinions. All the things that people told me I got them so not spending any money actually. Thxs again guys!
