well I was working on a 1/10 4X4 truggy and I cant figure out how to extend the center drive shaft, the main propeller drive shaft from the tc4 isn't long enough, it is 6 3/8" long, I need 7.2" of driveshaft.

thanks guys

The shaft you need is about 183mm I couldn't find anything close to it. The longest drive shafts your are going to find are usually on touring cars like the tc4. Those are usually in the 160mm range.

There are a few 10 4wd buggies and trucks out their with center driveshafts, but the ones I looked at were about the same length as the touring cars.

The only other thing I can think of right now that might be worth a try would be checking out some RC crawling websites. If you don't want to fabricate your own driveshaft, you should be able to find someone who will do it for you.

The driveshaft on my Dark Impact is 7". It's a little short of what you need but I thought I'd throw it out there in case it could help.

I have one that is slightly longer than the DI (or TD) I think it is 85 mm.

My brushless t4 keeps snapping drive pins, you know the ones that go on the outside of the axle and key into the wheel. does any body know of a way to fix this or someone who makes HD drive pins? I already checked and the pins are centered on the axle and everything.

Thanks

I just use servo gear shafts that have been trimmed down. The roll pins are literally a sheet that has been rolled up. The servo gear shaft is solid. This is if you have a dremel or some way of shortening a shaft the same (or roughly the same) diameter as the roll pins. They work great:D.
