I will soon be adding a touring car to my off-road fleet of RC vehicles. I had a Team TC3 before and I sold it. Now I'm kicking myself because I want another one. Money really isn't too much of an object. What touring car should I buy? I own both Losi and Associated offroad vehicles and love them both. Thanks for the advice!

well if money is no object wait for the X-ray T1 to come out. That thing is a work of art. Oh and get the one belt converision. Then it would be the ultimat onroad electric RC.

"Wait for the X-Ray T1 to come out" ? Where've you been, guy? The T1 has been out for quite a while, at least six months.

I'd go with a TC3 or XXX-S, for the simple fact that parts will be easy to get, and both have proven to be two of the best performers on the market. There's something to be said for following the herd.
If you want to try something different, the R/C Lab car is very trick, and very affordable. I'm probably going to run one here pretty soon, the bang to buck ratio is too hard to pass up. Parts are'nt as fast to get, but they are in stock at the distributor, five shipping days away. As the car becomes more popular, parts should become available at local shops. E-Mail me if you're interested in this car, I can set you up with one.

I went dumb for a minute. I had read an article in my most recent issue of rc touring and it was a review of the xray that said it was going to be coming out. Now that i think about it that issue is really old.

You really can't go wrong performance wise with any of the top contender TCs...the TC3, Yokomo, X-ray, ect ect. Best thing to do is decide which you prefer...belt or shaft...stick or saddle pack and then go to your LHS and see which meets your needs that they carry a good supply of parts for.

Thanks for the advice. Sorry, I've been out of town. I bought a used TC3 off Ebay. It is in mint condition, and the previous owner did a lot of the hopups already, so I saved a lot on the upgrades. The car is just too dang sweet to pass up. Couldn't help it though!
