Using the steel yokes on the Rustler.

I was going to buy a set of the steel yokes for my Rustler when I found out that they have the u-joints pre-installed. I was planning on installing them and later, installing a set of CVDs. Can the u-joints be removed/cut out and have a set of CVDs put in?. And, if they can't, is there another company besides Traxxas that makes the steel yokes without the u-joints?

HG makes some sweet orange color aluminum stuff for Traxxas, including the Rustler. Really trick high quality stuff best out there. I wish I could get orange aluminum for my TB01. Anyways check them out.
