Be careful if you buy there.

I bought an exaust kit (pipe and manifold) and they send me a manifold for inline pipe. I did choose the right one when ordering. They apologized and told me they were to send the right one, but I'm still waiting and can't get any more answer from them. I did the order in December...

I also ordered a part for my engine and they send me another one that doesn't fit. Why ? because the one I ordered is now discontinued. I'm now stuck with this part that doesn't do the job.

I will sell those parts on ebay I think and I already ordered the good ones at TowerHobbies. I had good experience with them in the past. I tried Ace Hardware because the discontinued part that I couldn't find anywere was listed on there web site... bad idea.

So, be aware...

Bye !

They do sell really nice shovels and hammers though!!!

I guess if I had to choose, I would buy from someone who makes my hobby their business.

Ace has been in the rc business for 25years. They decided to go out of business and the announcement a few months back was kind of a gimmick, 30% of everything. Then you looked at the fine print and it said - 30%off msrp. That kind of BS puts me off and I didn't even look at their sale.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from them a few years ago and had no probs. Hope they get your prob taken care of.

I put in two orders for buggy rims. I recieved one. I called them up and they said"I thought it was a mistake". I told them I needed the second set. As with you I am still waiting... I'm not gonna hold my breath. Taking it as a loss.

Sad to see that you had problems too. I hope they will do something about this.

According to the website they have quit taking orders online and have gone out of business as of the 25th. I am assuming that is still the case. Hopefully they can resolve your problems. It seems though if a place goes out of business there is a time where they just cut ties and all sales are final type of deal.
