i have an orion stock chrome, what size spur and pinion should i use to get max performance

Look into your manuel, there should be the info your looking for in there. If you don't have the manuel go to the company's website of your car/truck. Find out what it says about pinion to use with a stock motor and may want to go lower by a tooth or two.

WELL, that is not always the way to go, especially when it comes to stockers, in the XXX manual, i says that you should go with a 28/82 combo, that is wayyyyyy overgeared, i run 23/82 mostly, and actually, at the current moment, a 22, it is all about how open/tight the track is, so just experiment. also, get an assortment of sizes, it is always good to have an assortment

You indoor guys have smaller tracks.
Belive it or not, that 82/28 is real close at our track. BIG tracks in Florida. 37-39sec laps, 8 laps in 5min.
When Skyler was in Daytona a few weeks back, he was running a 22. I loaned him a 27, and he qualified second in 2wd stock.
You really need to ask the fast guys at your track.
