I got a spray can of tamiya paint. Is it still useful? or is it bad now? its arpox 6 years or so old? its been kept in the can.

i agree test it out first,u mite get lucky.is the can rusty on the bottom,where was it stored??basement???

try it on a polycarbonate cola bottle or something, leave it for a few hours, and see if it is ok....

The can is a bit rusted but its been closed the whole time!! First time I tried to open it, the lid was stuck on hard. It seems fine to me but I have not tested it yet.

I agree with Lidz,...round file it man. Its not worth even messing with.

If there is rust on the outside, chances are that something could have gotten to the inside. This isn't very likely but it would contaminate the paint if it did. If it sprays, use it. Shake well for a few minutes and then spray test it on a cardboard box to make sure it atomizes and doesn't have a funny color coming out of it. If it works, use it. I wouldn't spray a shelf queen body with it but a basher probably wouldn't hurt.
