I really like this little boat. I would love to pick this up as my first boat. I probably wouldnt use it that much as it looks so nice, but I need an idea as to a reasonable price for this. It seems I would need a radio, receiver, and battery to run. I already have a DX3 and ICE charger so Ill just need to pick up some batteries. Any help is appreciated :) Ive never had a boat before and would saw this and it caught my eye.

Me personally... too much money & its used. Try to see through the bling and get a boat thats much better.
For a few bucks more, you can get a new SuperVee Click this link (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMDJ4**&P=0) that will out run anything on the market for a RTR electro.

I appreciate it guys :) I actually just picked up a boat yesterday. Ive been racing for a while, mainly nitro off road so tuning the engine shouldnt be too hard. Lately ive been into crawling and racing 1/10 electric though. Here is my first boat:

I wont be using it for around a month as its still too cold to break in the engine. I plan on running 20% nitro, probably Trinity. I also plan to swap out the radio for one of my Spektrum units. Im thinking about saving to pick up the 1/8 scale version(Miss Bud, Elam, Llamar) as I really like these hydros. I still have to get a small raft incase it stalls out on the water.
I have to say for a RTR boat it seems very well built. All the reviews of it considered it to be a great buy for the money. I cant wait till I finally test it out. Only real question I have is what kind of tape do i use to seal the radio box and the outer cover? Ive read this clear tape but I have no idea what kind. Thanks :)

the 2 best tapes to use are Andover clear hocky tape, and Renfrew clear hockey tape. myself and many others have used renfrew for a while and it's considered unbeatable. i have recently switced to Andover...it's just a little better IMO.
