I will be flying to sunny Tucson Az this week and I want to take my revo with me. Anyone do this lately and what are the restrictions. I know I cant take fuel but can I take my afterrun oil and shock fluids? of course this will be in a ziplock baggy. I figured I would pack the truck in a garbage bag surronded by clothes. Any other advice would be awesome! Thanks!

you should probably box it.

I'm pretty sure I can thank my mini T for a couple TSA notices I got recently (It was in the one bag I took home for Christmas break). I'd put it in more than a garbage bag, as they tend to rip. A good duffel and a cardboard box go a long way. I know they don't like combustibles, I'm trying to figure out if I left my Testor's plastic cement at home or if it was confiscated.
I'd guess shock fluids would be safe, afterrun oil might be something to leave behind. But I'm an electric guy, so I don't have any firsthand experience.

Can you send them ahead of you and just bring the revo? I didn't think the postal service easially shipped gas and stuff, but tower does........
it might be worth it to just ship everything out ahead of you. I would be worried about it getting lost or stolen en route, but then again that rarely happens. I don't know what I would do really, probably take it with me and hope it doesn't cause a big problem.

Just show it in your suitcase.... make sure theres no fuel in the tank and that its dry, afterrun oil should be ok to bring but keep it in the suitcase and not in hand luggage.

Well FYI I called the Airline and they said I should have posted a question on my favorite Online RC chat forum and use the great wealth of knowledge and experience that is at my finger tips instead of waiting on hold for 45 minutes for a airline customer service rep.
lol just trying to be funny! Thanks everyone for your help!
