esc's work by taking input from the receiver and powering the motor. The battery connects to it, and the receiver wire goes to the receiver to power it. Installation is easy: just secure it to the chassis, hook up the motor, battery, and the receiver.

The Battery Juice goes in one end, and the Motor 'Tricity fluxes out the other side.

Sorto: I think you are going waaayy over your head with this. If you dont know a general of what an Rc needs and how its going to work I don't think your going to be able to build from scratch a rc car without it having a lot of problems.

Nope, he's been posting around asking. Look at his user info and his threads posted. He wants to build from scratch.

he has no clue at all, but tbf, we all had none at the start. I dont understand at all why he is so insistant at making a car from scratch. YOU WONT BE ABLE TO DO IT! buy a kit or just get an rtr
