So far this is what I have planned for my TB01.

1. Tamiya TB01 Carbon Chassis
2. Tamiya TB01 Racing motor mount
3. DuraTrax Bearings throughout the car
4. Tamiya TA03 Super Low Friction Dampers
5. Tamiya TG10 Aluminum Racing Steering
6. Trinity Monsters of Touring 19 T Double
7. Novak Fusion Dual Profile ESC

Are these parts good investments? I don't want to end up with a part that has problems like the carbon drive shaft that splits. Also am I going to stress any parts of the car too badly with a 19 turn? Should I go lower? I am using Piranha sport packs will those be OK for now? I am also considering the long arm conversion kit. Will I still need to use 190mm bodies? Or move on to 200mm? Will the Hotbodies McLaren body fit with the arm conversion?

The only thing i would change to your planned mod would be the aluminum low friction damper. Although the stock one are made of plastic, they work really really well. I suggest you instead, the aluminum prop shaft and the lightweigth gear set. A weight saving of 130g. in the drive train only, where it's the most important. Those are much more urgent than changing for alu. damper!

Oooppss... sorry!

I suggest you to have a look at Integy web site. They have hop-ups specific to the TB-01: Steering linkage, motor mount, etc. Most of them are made in aluminum and anodized purple... wow.

I have some on mine and it looks incredible.
