im gong to race my tc3 soon, but i only have 2 batterie that i would even remotely consider using in a race. a regular, duratrax 2400 and a vis-exta stock metal hydrade 3000. Now there are 3 qualifiers and 1 main. should I a. Use the 2400 for first main, charge it, 3000 for second, charge it, 2400 for third and 3000 for main or... buy another trinity stock metal hydrade vis-extra 3000 and only use the 2400 once?

I would recommend you have 1 pack per heat and main. If you cannot afford this many packs, or whatever, at least keep the main pack for that race only, meaning do not recharge it on race day.
.... and if you must recharge a pack for the main, make it your 3000 as the voltage actually increases on multiple recharges in one day (or so I have heard, and it also seems like it from experience) on this type of cell.

My friend only has two packs as well! A 3000 and a 2400. He uses the 3000's for the qualifiers (since you can charge them whenever you want) and then pops the 2400 in for the mains. If he bumps, he'll drop the 3000 back in cause it'll be charged by then.

Jeep also recommends using a 3 amp power supply on your charger... LMAO...
2 packs are fine bro... but only use them for the heats and main... you probably will want to use some of your other packs in practice....
peace out... :)
