View Full Version : 1/5 scale Electric motorcyles
I recently saw an artical in RCCA about 1/5 scale rc mortorcycle racing. Have any of you ever run one of these things? Im thinking of getting a Nuova Faor 1/5 scale electric. Are they difficult to drive? Require a lot of maintinance? Any info would be helpful. Even on Kyosho or Bachman rigs.

I haven't driven the cycles you're asking about, but I have driven a 1/4-scale nitro and 1/10 electric cycle. They're pretty easy to drive, although you have to counter-steer to get out of corner. If you just let go of the steering, the bike will continue to turn. Maintenance is nothing special, as long as you don't mind some scrapes on the side of the bike. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
