im looking to get a new kit and i was stuck between the associated t3 factory team kit, which has all the blue anodized parts and the team losi xxxt matt francais edition. which one is better? or any other suggestions?

Well, do you have any of the othwer cars made by Losi or Associated? If you do, get that car! I personally would go for the XXXt because of the red and the threaded shocks, but I bought a T3, because it was less expensive, and I didnt know a MF edition was coming out!

I'm going to go T3 on this one, it's *cheaper*... they're both good trucks to the point where a decent driver will do well with either.. paying extra for the red parts for the golly-gee-whiz factor (see above posts) is silly (imho), save the money and buy a motor or battery pack with the difference..

Thanks LasagnaCat. This is a choice between blue and red. What's your favorite color, blue or red? There's your answer.

I would have to go with the Losi. Better shocks and I like red. So what if the T3 is cheaper.

I would go with the MF xxxt. In a comparison in rcca the stock xxxt beat the factory team t3, nuff said!

When R/C Car Action had the shoot out on the trucks, ae FTT3, Losi XXX-T(not Francis Edition) and Kyosho Ultima, the XXX-T won, and that was without all the goodies. Just amagine how good it is with the goodies. :D :) :p  ;)

I'm going to take a stab at this one and say that it's only as good as the driver controlling it, with or without goodies.. We do own both a ('regular') XXX-T and a FT T3, and both trucks perform admirably when properly tuned for the surface you're driving on and when driven with even a slight bit of control... We also own two TC3's, a racer kit and a FT kit.. at the track my wife and I can swap cars and still turn the same number of laps we would with our own car.. same thing with the trucks, the better (or in this case much more experienced - I've been doing this for 14 years and she hasn't hit the first full year yet) driver will perform better with any suitably decent truck..
